MFS Tactical Trauma Care I
Cost is $125. A must for anyone who carries a firearm for personal protection. This interactive four-hour class will teach you what you need to know to treat traumatic injuries caused by firearms or edged weapons.
Blood loss is the #1 reason people die from penetrating trauma. This class, patterned after Law Enforcement training, will familiarize you with the following:
- Application of Lifesaving products like Quick Clot, compression bandages, and tourniquets
- How to control bleeding by CAT, SWAT, and Sof Tourniquet applications.
- Treating a sucking chest wound.
- Basic First Aid (including eye injuries)
- Maintaining an airway
- Casualty carry styles and techniques
Training will take place in the classroom and include hands on training. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of the class.
